​To enhance technical competencies among Institute of Brunei Technical Education, IBTE students while supporting the nation's economic diversification efforts, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between IBTE with Daimun Cafe. The signing ceremony was held on 25th April afternoon, at Jalan Tungku Link, Gadong.

Signing on behalf of IBTE was Dr. Haji Mohd Zamri bin Haji Sabli, Director of Technical Education. While Daimun Cafe was represented by its Managing Director, Awang Haji Wan Mohd Tambrin Sah bin Haji Suhaili. Apart from formalising the collaboration for IBTE Dual System Apprenticeship Programme in Professional Cookery & Services, the MoU also emphasised IBTE's commitment to align manpower planning with industry requirements, reducing unemployment, and minimising business costs associated with workforce training.
